Why it matters

  • EU: under the General Product Safety Regulation, a product covered by it can't be placed on the EU market unless an economic operator established in the EU is responsible for it, and that operator's details must appear on the product and in online listings.
  • UK cosmetics: a cosmetic product placed on the UK market needs a Responsible Person established in the UK, who notifies the product before it goes on sale.
  • EU cosmetics: the same applies in the EU, with a Responsible Person established in the EU and notification through CPNP.

Questions

Is $399 a year really all I pay for GPSR?

For one brand with up to 50 products, yes, including the mandate, label details and regulator contact. If a product needs testing or new documentation, we quote that separately before any work starts.

Whose name will appear on my packaging?

Ours, as your responsible economic operator or Responsible Person, with our EU and UK addresses.

Can you help if our labels or formulas don't comply?

Yes. We review labels and claims and, for supplements, help adjust formulas for UK and EU rules.
