Since 1 July 2026, the EU charges a fixed €3 customs duty per item on parcels under €150 from outside the EU, and the UK is ending its £135 low-value relief in October 2028. Importing in bulk and shipping locally is becoming the cheaper and faster route for US brands with steady UK and EU demand.
